The Ponies

The planned build/buy demo may be delayed until Fall, but we will keep you posted about it when anything changes. Some questions have been raised about why there’ll be an absence of ponies in this first build of the game. The reason is because we’re focusing on the framework of the game, and don’t want to rush ponies into it and make the game unstable. We want to bring a game of quality, even in the early alpha and beta builds, and we want to make sure that we don’t squeeze anything in when the important foundations are missing. Also, there have been questions about the lack of recruiting lately. This is due to enough people needed already working on the pre-alpha builds. However, we most certainly will recruit more people in the future, possibly the coming months even.

Hello everypony! We’re excited to announce that everything is going well, and we’re making lots of progress like usual. We are planning to release a pre-alpha demo build, simply titled the “Build and Buy Demo”, as we don’t have ponies implemented yet, this August. This build will allow you to create houses (basic ones anyways), and you’ll be able to play around with the tools in those two game modes. Please remember that plan could always change, as this is a hobby project and the developer’s schedules frequently change so this has a small chance of releasing later or earlier than the planned date.
